The Electronic Density Meter is an Archimedes-method instrument for rapid density measurement of solid materials. It is used for rubber, plastics, granules, films, ceramics, metals, powder-metallurgy parts, and cable compounds in incoming inspection, formulation comparison, and routine laboratory testing.

0.001 g/cm3 Density Resolution
The ZY-300A and ZY-600A provide 300 g or 600 g weighing capacity with density accuracy of 0.001 g/cm3. Air weight and immersed weight are converted directly into density, reducing manual calculation during repeated batch checks.
Temperature and Liquid Compensation
Water-temperature and measuring-liquid compensation can be entered through the instrument. When liquid temperature or medium density changes, the correction is applied before the density result is displayed, reducing systematic error in comparative tests.
Fixtures for Different Solid Forms
The integrated tank and holder system supports blocks, irregular parts, granules, films, and floating materials. Sample-specific holders keep the specimen fully positioned in the liquid so density and volume can be read without reshaping the material.
Customization Capabilities
Sample holders can be produced for unusual films, floating parts, or irregular components from drawings or samples. Tank layout and draft shielding can be adapted to the bench and immersion liquid. Printer or RS-232C output, interface language, and power supply can be matched to the laboratory.
Quality Control
The weighing system is calibrated with traceable reference weights, followed by density verification using reference solids and controlled liquid temperature. Tank alignment, holder immersion, zero tracking, compensation entry, and repeatability are checked across several measurements. Communication output and the final display result are verified before packing.
