Plasticity Tester

The ZY-1005 Plasticity Tester is designed to measure the plasticity of raw rubber, refined rubber, and mixed rubber. It complies with GB/T 12828 standard.

 

The test principle is as follows: the rubber sample is placed between smooth parallel plates of a weighted hammer. Under specified temperature and load, the sample is compressed for a set period of time. The deformation is then determined by measuring the change in height before and after testing, which is used to calculate the plasticity value.

The tester applies a pressure of 49 ± 0.05 N between two parallel plates, including the spring force of the dial gauge.

The control temperature is maintained at 70 ± 1°C. The dial gauge has a range of 0–30 mm with an accuracy of 0.01 mm.

Electric heating power: 220 V ±10%, 700 W. Net weight: approximately 35 kg.

Operation procedure: place the sample on the worktable and rotate the handle. The chain mechanism lifts and lowers the weighted hammer along the guide rod. The dial gauge displays the deformation value.

The temperature controller automatically maintains a stable temperature. The timer issues an alarm when the preset time is reached.

Formulas:

• Plasticity value = h₁ × 100
• Recovery value = (h₂ − h₁) × 100
• The final result is the median value of three test samples.

Standard products require 7–10 days for production, while customized products take approximately 30 days. Our monthly production capacity is 50–100 units, ensuring stable and timely delivery.
