Aging Test Chamber
Product Overview
The Aging Test Chamber is a controlled hot-air oven for accelerated thermal aging of rubber, plastics, wire and cable compounds, and electrical insulation materials. It is used in formulation comparison, incoming-material evaluation, production verification, and laboratory programs that measure property retention after exposure to elevated temperature.

Core Advantages
Controlled Temperature for Long-Duration Aging
The chamber operates from room temperature to 200°C or 300°C, depending on the selected configuration, with temperature fluctuation of ±1°C. During extended heat exposure, the PID controller adjusts heater output to limit overshoot, keeping each test batch under the specified thermal condition.
Air Exchange Matched to the Test Method
Model 401A provides 3-10 air changes per hour with a rotating specimen platform, while model 401B uses natural vertical ventilation at 8-20 air changes per hour. When oxidation rate depends on fresh-air renewal, the selected ventilation mode keeps the exposure condition consistent with the required method.
Specimen Loading with Reduced Position Bias
The observation window, stainless-steel mesh shelves, and 401A turntable support multi-specimen testing without interrupting the cycle. Proper spacing and controlled air movement expose specimen surfaces more evenly, reducing differences caused by shelf position.

Customization Capabilities
Usable chamber depth and the quantity and position of cable feed-throughs can be produced from specimen and wiring drawings. Controller language, power supply, and data interface can be matched to the installation site. Non-standard chamber layouts can be manufactured from an approved equipment specification.
Quality Control
Temperature sensors and controller inputs are checked before assembly, followed by inspection of the chamber seal, ventilation path, shelves, and turntable mechanism. Each completed unit is run empty at multiple setpoints to verify temperature fluctuation, chamber uniformity, and air-exchange operation. The recorded results are reviewed before the 100% pre-packing inspection.

FAQ
Q: What is the minimum order quantity?
A: The MOQ is 1 unit.
Q: What is the production lead time?
A: Standard units take 7-10 days; non-standard configurations take about 30 days.
Q: How should specimens be arranged inside the chamber?
A: Keep specimens separated and clear of the chamber walls so airflow reaches every exposed surface.
Q: Can the chamber be used for solvent drying or production curing?
A: No. It is specified for controlled hot-air aging tests; solvent or process-heating use requires a separate chamber design.
