The ZY-1001 Rotary Drum Abrasion Tester complies with ISO 4649 and GB 9867 standards. Compared with the Akron abrasion tester, it requires a smaller sample size, has a shorter test cycle, and features a non-repetitive wear path. For these reasons, it is widely used as a popular abrasion testing solution worldwide.

 

The test principle is as follows: under a specified load, a cylindrical sample is abraded against sandpaper over a defined distance. The mass loss is then measured and converted into volume loss using material density.

This rotary drum abrasion tester features a drum diameter of 150 ± 0.2 mm and a drum length of 500 mm. The drum rotates at a speed of 40 ± 1 r/min.

The sample diameter is 16 ± 0.2 mm, with a minimum thickness of 6 mm. The sample holder moves laterally at 4.2 ± 0.06 mm per drum rotation.

The abrasive paper is aluminum oxide with grain size 60. The width is ≥ 400 mm, and the length is 474 ± 1 mm.

Available grinding distances are 20 m or 40 m. The standard load applied to the sample is 2.5 N. Additional weights can be used to increase the load to 5 N, 7.5 N, or 10 N.

The motor speed is 3000 r/min. The system includes a drive unit, drum, sample holder, automatic stop system, gear mechanism, base, and dust collection unit.

A one-year warranty is provided (excluding wear parts). If the equipment is damaged during shipping, we will assist with claims and provide repair or replacement services.

The minimum order quantity is one unit. Different models and colors can be combined in a single order.

Standard products require 7–10 days for production, while customized products take approximately 30 days. Our monthly production capacity is 50–100 units, ensuring stable and timely delivery.
